Invitation to attend Nov. 10 ONLINE Strong Authentication Summit

I wanted to make sure you all were aware of an online conference/ summit that BrightTALK is running next week on Strong Authentication. As you'll see, Kantara Initiative is a sponsor of the summit and I'll be giving a talk on Tuesday, November 10th on the role of Strong Authentication in the Identity Assurance Ecosystem. All - In case you're not following the Identity Theft Prevention and Identity Management Standards Panel (IDSP) at ANSI, you might've missed this: http://www.ansi.org/news_publications/news_story.aspx?menuid=7&articleid=23… In the release they announce that the IDSP has produced a report calling for the development of a U.S. standard on identity verification. It looks like NASPO will pick up the ball from here. The Board of Trustees (BoT), Leadership Council (LC) and many Work Groups (WGs) discussed deliverables and scope of work moving forward. In addition, the recent formation of an Oversight Board to look at expanding the Interop program is underway. The third Liberty Interoperable full-matrix web-based testing event administered by the Drummond Group Inc., and the first event to test products against the new eGovernment SAML 2.0 profile v1.5 recently released by Liberty Alliance took place allowed vendors to participate from anywhere in the world. The summers full-matrix testing event included more vendors than ever before, reflecting the worldwide demand among enterprises and governments for SAML 2.0 identity-enabled solutions that have proven to interoperate. Organizations can count on Liberty Interoperable for products that have proven to meet interoperability requirements today and over the long-term as the program moves to expand within Kantara Initiative to test against additional identity standards and protocols. The eGovernment SAML 2.0 profile and its requisite test plan have been developed by Liberty Alliance with input from the Danish, New Zealand and US governments. Testing processes for the eGovernment profile included multiple SP logout scenarios, requested authentication context comparisons, and other aspects of SAML 2.0 necessary to meet interoperability, privacy, security and transparency requirements in the global eGovernment sector. Clique Space: A concept for an Identity Layer.

Hi there people. After doing some research on the lay of the market landscape for a device and user aggregation, interaction modeling and moderation system, I ran into the term "Identity Layer" that appears to sum up the objective of a concept that I have patented. In essence, Clique Space is a system that abstracts user presence and models collaborations. I will leave the details to the three links I provide in my signature below, and to Google. Status Update - Maillists are Operational

Dear Community, After a short delay, and some testing, we can now confirm that the mail lists are once again operational. We had expected the work to be completed by 9am PDT today however there was a short 2 hr delay in service restoration. Also, I have been advised that any users who sent mail to a list in the last 4 hrs may need to resend those messages. Please also make a note the the mailman archive URLs have changed slightly. All of the archive links have been updated in each group workspace on the wiki. Thanks again to all of your in the community for your patience during these updates. If you need any assistance, have questions, or suggestions regarding the IT tools please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
