Folks,

After much consternation and procrastination (mostly on my part) the
first version of "Requirements for an Attribute Registry" is now online
and available for your comments, approval or dismissal at

This document which I've written with Heather (and with some input from
others listed in the document) attempts to start to pull together the
bits that are needed for a central or distributed registry of attributes
that lets us move beyond our current model of relying on LDAP schema
as a basis for describing our attributes.
