Thanks Heather, As a quick suggestion to keep this going: The ability to use attributes safely and efficiently in the course of our digital and other identity transactions. In order to do this it would be helpful to have: 1. Base set of attributes, definitions, representations 2. Catalog of vertical specific attribute set (~extensions) 3. Associated authoritative sources 3. Ability to protect and share these attributes 4. Coordination among the groups creating and using these attributes 5. Framework to address privacy, trust and level of assurance of attributes 6. Evaluation of where this stands Sal -----Original Message----- From: dg-am-bounces@kantarainitiative.org [mailto:dg-am-bounces@kantarainitiative.org] On Behalf Of Heather Flanagan Sent: Thursday, January 05, 2012 2:08 PM To: dg-am@kantarainitiative.org Subject: [DG-AM] question about our charter Hi all - As I'm working on compiling our notes and discussions in a set of recommendations, it occurs to me that we haven't really (as far as I know) talked about this part of our mandate: IDENTIFY: Kantara Initiative stakeholder requirements regarding Attribute Management. We have a lot of information about activities going on in the attribute management space in our repository, and we have a list of groups working on definitions, but do we actually have a list of what's actually required? Anyone have thoughts/opinions on this? -Heather _______________________________________________ DG-AM mailing list DG-AM@kantarainitiative.org http://kantarainitiative.org/mailman/listinfo/dg-am
