an Attribute Registry Requirements gathering exercise
Hi all - So, wearing my I2/ISOC hats, I would like to bring your attention to a requirements draft for an attribute registry: http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-johansson-areg-reqs-00 Leif Johansson and I put this together as one of the outputs from the last Attribute Workshop hosted by the Internet Society earlier this year. We would very much like your comments and feedback on the document, and encourage send Leif or I any comments, suggestions, or questions you might have. You can email the authors by clicking on the "Email" link at the top of the drafts page. Please forward this on to any other groups you think might be interested! -Heather Flanagan
Heather, That was the conclusion of an Internet2/NIH co-hosted workshop 3-4 years ago. I know, I saw the video (and you thought no one watched that!) But we got it explicitly assigned out at the ISOC meeting (I don't recall anyone named to work on it last time?) -hf ----- Original Message ----- From: "peter alterman" <peter.alterman@gmail.com> To: "Heather Flanagan" <hlflanagan@internet2.edu>, dg-am@kantarainitiative.org Sent: Wednesday, August 1, 2012 4:17:04 PM Subject: Re: [DG-AM] an Attribute Registry Requirements gathering exercise Heather, That was the conclusion of an Internet2/NIH co-hosted workshop 3-4 years ago. Fantastic job Leif and Heather! Truly ground breaking - not so much the idea (which is pretty darn good thanks NIH/Internet2 of 3-4 years ago - but to actually get forward traction... Well done! I will look up our own Low, Moderate LoAs (URNs pointing to a local store at the mo') and prepare them for eventual upload.
