Yep. This was first reported a couple days ago. I believe it applies largely to law enforcement use, including surveillance. Isn’t it funny how the EU is very public against biometrics, early on, when voting is important. Then, when it’s clear what they advocated could not work or severely impede necessary activities, they change. It’s like NIST mandating biometrics when nobody was watching. LOL
