Marketing support - for CIS

Hi all, Based on our conversation today, it sounds like we need some more from marketing for CIS. Please let me know if I'm on the right track here - we are on a tight timeframe, but we should be able to get what is needed in time. Madison is working up a proposal for costs and can include the following: 1. One page flyer for founding members a. High level, action oriented, includes high level benefit review, targeted at companies for sponsorships 2. Postcard a. Simple, catchy postcard CTA to for individuals to join (can include whatever incentive is decided on) - to be put in bags 3. Condensed graphic a. Text overlay graphic to be on a circular button 4. This year, we examined the path to the profession. It's also not surprising that many of you were lawyers in other fields. But we are also now seeing significant groups of people coming from IT and infosecurity, and that should also be an indication that those kinds of skill sets are in demand throughout the privacy industry. Hey, 3 percent of you even came from marketing — did CAN-SPAM and CASL get your juices flowing? Finally, while correlation is not necessarily causation, we would be remiss if we did not point out the nice salary bump experienced by those with an IAPP certification. Internationalization

One thing I'd like to push on the IDPro stack is the topic of internationalization - specifically Japanese. I think the Japanese identity market would welcome IDPro if it were easier to approach. Nat has asked for IDPro content at the upcoming Japan identity event in September. Megan - remind me what yourmembership can do here.
