Even with two or three, I'd say it's worth bringing them up.  
It's important to recognise them (and this is a good opportunity to do so); and I think it will help pull others off the fence. 
It may also act as a forcing function now to be able to go back to those still in process.

Should we deliver a keynote which is an update, recognize Pledge and DG members, and indicate our future plans? Or should we bring Founding Members (although there may be few of them) on stage to recognize them and say we are open for business?
