I can't tell if he's serious about the $1k to hand over control of the twitter handle

I told him I'd think about it but it was kinda expensive

I'm part of a team trying to start up a Digital Identity Professionals association (take a look at the kantarainitiative.org - that's where we are incubating the work right now). The plan is to start small public announcements this spring and set up a stand-alone non-profit corp in a year or two.
