Submission to CIS 2017 for ID Pro - draft.
Greeting ID Pro SCers Needing to get this panel re-set for CIS, after our disappointing result for RSA. I have pencilled a draft submission below: At CIS 2016, the call for the creation of an association for digital identity professionals was announced. Since then nearly 400 people have pledged their support for the idea. The hard work on creating an organization from scratch has started at Kantara. In keeping with CIS 2017's theme, intelligent identity, this panel explores what it means to be an intelligent identity professional and discusses the notion of intelligence in developing and deploying identity strategies, both in the enterprise and in Government. How does that work for folks? Cheers Colin
First pass: sounds like one I'd attend :)

Good idea. A couple of suggestions.
At CIS 2016, the creation of an association for digital identity
professionals was presented and widely praised. Since then nearly 400
people have pledged their support for the idea. The hard work of creating
an organization from scratch has started at Kantara Initiative. In keeping
with CIS 2017's theme, intelligent identity, this panel explores what it
means to be an intelligent identity professional and discusses the notion
of intelligence in developing and deploying identity strategies, both in
the enterprise and in Government.
