PWI 25863 - Preliminary Draft V0.2 following the Call for Contributions on SC 27/WG 5 N 4874

In support of the preliminary work item PWI 25863, an informal Call for Contributions was launched on the document ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27/WG 5 N 4874, both within SC 27 WG 5 and within SC 17. 

Three general comments and 46 detailed technical comments have been received.

First of all, the PWI team would like to thank the experts that have responded.

While at the PWI stage, it is not required to publish a draft Disposition of Comments following a Cfc. However, the editorial team believe it would be helpful to share a summary of the results in a DoC-like document for information as well as a revised Preliminary Draft (PD) based on the contributions and comments.

Two versions of the revised PD have been prepared: a clean version and a version that includes revisions marks. They are provided in separate documents.

If the proposed Form 4 and supporting PD are agreed at the WG5 Plenary and approved by SC27 ballot, then the PD will be improved and published as draft WD1. The normal commenting process with a DoC will then follow.
