Dear Kay,

We are excited to share with you the news of two upcoming community hackathons in California in September, aimed at promoting acceptance and usage of California’s mDL.

We are looking for co-hosting/co-funding partners to provide critical financial, technical, and logistical support necessary to make the hackathons successful and beneficial for Californian residents, businesses and public agencies as well as the digital identity community as a whole. The California DMV has committed to supporting the hackathons and making the technical tooling developed for the mDL pilot available for hackathon participants.
