The article does mix something up though. ACCS is AVID by another name. The way it is written makes it sound as if there is: BSI Kantara AVID ACCS The approved CBs are now only: Kantara, AVID (using a trade name ACCS) and BSI. To clarify, NQA made a business decision as did before them that they couldn't support DIATF certifications due to being so oversubscribed for audits in other areas. Hence, the transfers to Kantara. That is a good news story in itself that Kantara had the auditors that the companies wishing to transfer followed. In other words the NQA auditors who joined us. We should also not underestimate the power of the message that GDS/DSIT OneLogin certification brings. For a long time there was resistance to certify as it's not normal for that department to enter into certification. The fact they have and the positivity that brings is good for potential public sector and private sector clients wanting the UK certification. Many of those providers are keen to have certification both sides of the Atlantic and in jurisdictions like EU. As good a reason as any to make the move to ISO 17065. It lines up with what has been successful in the UK, provides opportunities for interoperability and opens up a multitude of schemes that will have criteria we can control.
