The potential positive and negative impacts of AI need to be understood and managed. NIST is proposing the creation of a NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) Profile (Cyber AI Profile), in collaboration with the cybersecurity and AI communities, to focus on three sources of risk that impact an organization’s operational risk: Cybersecurity of AI Systems, AI-enabled Cyber Attacks, and AI-enabled Cyber Defense.
