In early April Tom sent out a heads up notice making sure our draft DII doc efforts were in the PEMC WG Consent activities. He specifically commented: "We have focused on the data that needs to flow from the Verifier to the User Device in order to ensure that the data displayed to the holder will be appropriate to the purpose specified and so that the holder can make an informed consent for themselves or for the subject that has delegated the authority to make a decision for that subject. It is expected that this data will flow from the verifier to the user's device so that the device can make the decision about the appropriate user agent (or wallet) to handle the request. It is up to the device and the user agent to form the UX for holder consent. Other arrangements of the device and agent are, of course, possible.  Now that we have approved the final DII draft and delivered it to the LC, let's revisit the question Tom asked: Is there any particular action RIUP should take to help assure alignment?

Last week there was an impromptu session to address this question with Tom, Noreen and Justin and we will do it again this coming Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

and later Justin forwarded a link which Tom, Noreen and Justin (and maybe Jorge was part of that session, I was not) :

Earlier today, Tom put forth an interesting question:  Do we need to consider how digitalization can create problems for the underserved?

Have a nice Memorial Day Holiday weekend with family and friends; remember the men and women in the armed services; those who have died for our freedom and families who have lost loved ones.

God Bless America,
