Hi all— I know that for many folks in North America celebrating the Labor Day holiday, a Monday review deadline may be impossible. However, we are lucky to have a number of issues that have already come in from Justin’s close reading of the specs (many thanks — and three cheers for fresh eyes). I, for one, should be able to take a look at all of those issues, perhaps contribute some of my own, and work up some concrete proposals before Tuesday.

Is there anyone interested in joining me for any portion of an ad hoc meeting-slash-editing session on Tuesday 8-10am PT? The goal would be to hammer out concrete text revision proposals based on whatever discussions is found in the GitHub issues by Monday night, with an early sense of consensus, so that we can be prepared for Thursday’s (hopeful) draft approval meeting.

It looks like our regular Kantara Line C line is free; I’ll put an item on the UMA WG calendar, and send a calendar invite to anyone who expresses interest.

Thanks,

Eve

Hi all— Please take a look at the draft specs and submit any issues you see to GitHub. This is intended to be your last call prior to our Public Review vote:
As you review, please keep in mind these still-“live” questions:

  • Okay with final permission ticket section wording?
  • Is “without an RPT” appropriate in notes like this one (which appear several times in Core), versus “without an access token”?
  • Does the Core doc restructuring (to satisfy issue #179) work? (I sure hope so…would hate to have to undo it :-)

And keep an eye on the top of the GitHub issues list for other issues you may want to weigh in on.

Thanks,

Eve
