Here's the money-quote (sic) from http://www.cayenne-mydevices.com/docs/: "Every time you press a button from the Cayenne app or online dashboard, it travels to the Cayenne Cloud where it’s processed and finds its way to your hardware."

I know their app is lovely but why would I want to connect my things to their cloud if the app could do the same thing locally or in a VM that I own?
