Hello Community, There is a new draft charter in the works for a proposed Kantara Group focused on Cloud Identity Security. Kantara Participant Neil McEvoy is in process of starting up a new Kantara Initiative<http://kantarainitiative.org/>working group, called ‘ *CloudIDsec*‘ – Cloud Identity and Security Best Practices. Here is the first draft of the proposed charter<http://cloudbestpractices.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/cloudidsec.pdf>, that he's making available to discuss potential partnerships. Cloud Gateway Services Neil describes this version as having a Canadian flavour because i) he's in Canada, and ii) a key part of the R&D agenda includes a focus on where these Identity standards including Kantara overlap with their evolving set for Cloud Computing too, specifically the GC Community Cloud set<http://canadacloud.biz/roadmap/gc-community-cloud/> . For example for their core standards for identity authentication ITSG-31 here<http://www.cse-cst.gc.ca/its-sti/publications/itsg-csti/itsg31-eng.html>the Government of Canada has also standardized on and contributed to Kantara.
