Dear BIT-DG Members, A quick reminder that our kickoff meeting is this Thursday. Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026 Time: 7am PT / 10am ET / 4pm CET The Blinding Identity Taxonomy Discussion Group exists to develop and maintain a structured taxonomy of identity attributes that require protection from inference, disclosure, or misuse. As AI and autonomous systems become more capable of deriving sensitive characteristics from seemingly innocuous data, the BIT provides the categorical foundation for principled de-identification, privacy-preserving design, and identity governance at scale.
