Dear IDoT Group, I hope you all are doing fine. I know we are already in the middle of January and still...I'd like to wish you a Happy 2015 and I'm looking forward to our common work this year. There are some topics coming up: 1. Confcalls - I'll shortly schedule our ConfCalls for the next month 2. Block chains -Matteo and Ivan will be happy to talk about block chains on 20.2. Find attached an IBM paper about block chains, Matteo ask me to send it to you in preparation/intro to the discussion 3. EIC 2015 - Joni told me that EIC guys would like to see a presentation from our group this year 4. IEEE - P2413 likes to see some input from us regarding identity/trust/privacy 5. IDoT doc - We want to write a paper/white paper Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards Ingo
I'd like to catch up on what else is going on in this space; perhaps a 2014 year in review? a collaboratively edited map of the different models/groups/protocols? Especially curious about *de facto* IDoT.
Phil, thanks for this addition. I think that’s important too. We have that living document with the different / protocols approaches and so on. We should make this document growing by adding….e.g. Block chains, Google Internet of physicals (?) etc. and other interesting stuff we’ve already discussed or we are going to discuss From: Phil Wolff [mailto:pwolff@gmail.com] Sent: Donnerstag, 22. HNY :-) Noticed the request from the EIC guys. ForgeRock is chair for the Identity, Privacy and Security Advisory Group for SF IoT 4 Cities, together with ARM, Intel and Sony, and built a SmartCity demo. Is this something we could leverage / build upon ? Best, LA

Hello Lasse, Thank you for the detail. Perhaps this could be very interesting for Ingo and the IDoT to leverage. For a path forward I'd like to meet with Ingo this week to frame the idea for a session considering the input to date. We have some very good resources in this group and I'm sure we can make a great proposal that will be of high interest at EIC.
