Could you pls clarify why there is no longer any Kantara-provided secretariat support? Did I miss an important / relevant announcement? Hi Richard, Instead of assigning you an admin staff person, which we no longer have, the IAWG has the CTO as their assigned staff person. No other group has the CTO assigned as a liaison to them. Carol serves as the liaison to the ARB and IAWG. When we didn't have a CTO, we asked the assurance program manager to fulfill that role, but it really needs to be someone with technical knowledge and expertise. We don't have staff to provide secretarial services to any workgroups. Amanda has been promoted to the membership and workgroup engagement program manager. She is working directly with the Leadership Council now. I have suggested to the LC members that they take advantage of the Zoom AI companion to help take notes. The transcripts and summaries can't be used as standalone. Someone will have to review and edit the notes and transcripts, but it's probably faster than someone taking all the notes and writing them from scratch. We've had success with that in other groups. You also need to abide by the Leadership Council policy for using such services. I have added Alec Laws, Chair of the Leadership Council, to make sure your elected chair and vice chair have seen the policy. I believe one of the requirements is that outside services (meaning outside of Kantara) are not currently permitted.
